ID MANDAT

Part 2: What does your AI know about your company? A two-minute test

Current · 20 October 2026 · Part 2

The test

Open an AI assistant, for example Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, and ask two questions in a row. Fill in your company name and your domain:

  1. "What do you know about [company name] in [city]?"
  2. "What identity does the website [your-domain.com] have for AI agents? Does it really belong to this company?"

Read the answers carefully and note what they say.

What to look for

The test proves nothing. It only shows how an assistant describes your company today. The answers depend on the provider, the model and the time, and an assistant can be wrong.

Why this question matters

When people and AI agents look for companies, they increasingly ask assistants instead of a search engine. An assistant assembles its answer from scattered sources. It cannot always tell which source comes from the company itself and which does not. A source that states who declared something and how far it was checked is better suited than text that happens to be somewhere on the web.

The second question: what identity does your website have?

An AI agent that works with your website or in your name needs to know: does this domain really belong to the company, and which agents belong to it? ID MANDAT answers that publicly and without sign-in, also in machine-readable form and with a digital signature (see Part 1). The levels:

On the home page you can check your domain. Listing is free.
